Barefoot Bloggers: Jam Thumbprint Cookies

Well my pictures still suck but at least I am baking again. I made a half batch of these.

The second recipe chosen for this month was Jam Thumbprint cookies. It was chosen by Cassie.

Note to self. When the recipe says jam, you should use jam. I decided to try some lime curd on some of them. Didn't work out so well. The lime curd melted and ran out over the cookie. Then it burned to the pan. So those ones died.

But overall these came out pretty good.

I used lemon curd on mine and baked them for ~ 17 minutes (vs. the prescribed 20-25 minutes). The curd melted, ooey-gooey and all but thankfully, didn't run over. I enjoyed them. These are great cookies, aren't they? Thanks for sharing!

I didn't feel like I got a good pic of these either. Sorry about the curd accident. I used raspberry preserves and loved these.

PS. I still don't think you're boring!
