I have decided I need to make a few pies for Pi Day. Since it is a friday so time is limited for preparation, I need to have a game plan. Probably premake crusts for everything beforehand. For chilled pies I could even make them a few days in advance. So the question is, what kind of pies should I make and how many? Since probably no one at work will know what Pi Day is, I feel I need to go a little over the top so they understand. Here is my list of possibilities:
Lemon Chess Pie (I have a few recipes saved that I would like to try so this)
Some sort of chocolate pie - options are something like a chocolate pudding or something more like a cheesecake type of thing or other stuff
Apple Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Peanut butter pie
Key lime pie (though my last attempt at that failed miserably)
Banana Cream Pie
Boston Cream Pie (which isn't actually a pie so I don't have to make a crust)
Spanakopita (I saw a recipe that called it Greek Spinach Pie so that counts right?)
Quiche (I guess I can call that egg, ham and onion pie or whatever i decide to add to it)
Coconut Cream Pie
Some sort of cheesecake/fruit type pie
The other issue is I only have 2 pie pans. Anyone have an opinion on those aluminum disposable pie pans or what my other options are?

You should obviously make pi pies (3 is close enough). At least one should be the best kind of pie: cherry; which sadly wasn't even on your list.
kevin, I will take your advice on the cherry pie but 3 pies is just not enough. I need to make it clear that this is a major event and 3 just doesn't say that.
Hmmm. The next cutest thing I can think of is to make pi^2 square pies (about 10). But square pies sounds hard. Are they all to be sweet pies? Maybe add in some minced meat?
I have enough trouble with regular pies let along trying to make them square! Maybe I will arrange them in a square... though a circle seems more appropriate....
These are my probably definites:
Vidalia Onion Pie
Corn and Bacon Pie
Better than sex pie (raspberry and marscarpone cheese pie)
Lemon Chess Pie
Tollhouse Pie
Frozen Lemonade Pie
Maybe's:
Cappuccino Pie
Something from Waitress (Falling in love chocolate mousse pie is the most likely)
Creme Brulee Pie
Boston Creme Pie
Cherry Pie
Apple pie
Pecan Pie
Spanokopita (I already have phyllo dough so this should be a good option)
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
